Prior to founding Rise Run Capital, Alex was a shareholder with Baker Tilly, a top 10 global advisory and CPA firm, where he served as a leader in their national Transaction Advisory Services practice.
Alex has significant experience with clients in the healthcare, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing and distribution industries, and has worked on transactions with aggregate deal value of more than $4B over his career.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Alex spent five years with Deloitte in its Corporate Turnaround and Restructuring practice where he focused on financial and operational turnarounds for distressed companies.
Alex earned his MBA from the Cox School of Business and earned an undergraduate degree from Gettysburg college with a dual major in economics and classical studies.
Alex enjoys coaching his kid’s sports teams, playing golf and spending as much time outdoors as possible. He lives in Frisco with his wife and their 2 children.
Corbin Cook is a founding partner at Rise Run Capital and a member of the investment committee. Corbin co-leads the private equity investment team and serves as one of the firm’s representatives on the boards of the firm’s portfolio companies.
Prior to founding Rise Run Capital in 2019, Corbin worked in Corporate Development for Hilltop Holdings (NYSE: HTH), a financial holding company for Plains Capital Bank, Prime Lending and Hilltop Securities. In 2012, he led the sale of Plains Capital Corporation to Hilltop Holdings, which subsequently acquired First National Bank of Edinburg in an FDIC-assisted transaction.
Corbin began his career in Mergers & Acquisitions at UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Institutions Group. While at UBS in New York, Corbin executed transactions for CME Group/NYMEX, Butterfield Bank of Bermuda and The Royal Bank of Canada.
Corbin graduated from Vanderbilt University with honors, earning both a Bachelor of Science in political science and human & organizational development. He earned his MBA from The Cox School of Business with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors in finance.
Corbin enjoys fly fishing and travelling with his family. He lives in Dallas with his wife and their two sons.
Prior to joining Rise Run Capital, Reagan was an associate with Dos Rios Partners, a middle market private equity and mezzanine lending firm based in Texas.
While at Dos Rios, Reagan worked on sourcing, evaluating and executing debt and equity transactions across a variety of industries.
Reagan began his career as an analyst with Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Co., a commercial bank based in New Orleans, where his responsibilities included underwriting and due diligence for the acquisition of performing and non-performing loan portfolios.
Reagan earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Richmond with concentrations in accounting, finance, and international business and earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder.
In his free time, Reagan enjoys wakeboarding, making ceramics and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He lives in Dallas with his wife, Taylor, and their dog, Oreo.
Prior to joining Rise Run Capital in May 2021, Ben played golf professionally as a member of the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Tour Canada). During his time as a pro, Ben practiced out of Dallas National Golf Club.
In May of 2020, Ben graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kansas State University (KSU), earning degrees in both Finance and Accounting. During his time at KSU, Ben competed in the Big 12 conference as a member of the golf team, earning academic All-American honors in each of his four competitive seasons.
Ben’s notable golf achievements include participation in the 2017 U.S. Amateur, a World Amateur Golf Ranking of 483, and the 7th lowest single season scoring average in KSU team history.
In his free time, Ben enjoys watching football, playing golf, and spending time with his dog Ellie. Ben grew up in Southlake, TX where he currently lives.
Prior to joining Rise Run Capital, George was a practicing attorney representing business and commercial clients in a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. George has extensive experience helping clients negotiate favorable terms in all manner of commercial contracts, as well as executing M&A transactions.
George graduated from the University of Mississippi with degrees in Banking & Finance and Managerial Finance. He earned his Juris Doctor from LSU Law School, and his MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business. George is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana.
In his free time, George enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, and traveling. He is originally from Thibodaux, Louisiana, and currently resides in Dallas.
